After my visit to BNP  what I feel is that its a hybrid between a zoo and a forest reserve. There are separate areas for each animal which are surrounded by fences, so during safari you are guranteed to see the animals. But since they are in the natural setting, it is better than a zoo.

The biggest attraction is the safari. On weekends, there is a huge queue, so better to go early. The first safari starts at 10 am and if you reach at 9 am sharp, you can get in on the first bus for safari. If you reach at 11am, be prepared to stand in the queue for at least 2 hours.

There is the traditional zoo also attached. Nothing spectacular there, but kids would like it as well. In zoo you will find variety of colorful Birds which you really love to see as because of pollution we cant see birds in our cities. There are some "Jhoola" nearby the park which are good for the kids fun. Here you can also enjoy the horse riding. To see the Video of Kids Play Zone near national park pl click here

The butterfly park is really the highlight of the place. At the end of your safari, get down here and visit the park. It's a nicely maintained and beautiful lush green space.
